On Saturday, June 6, 2026, a barge hit Amtrak's Susquehanna River Bridge, which serves as a key conduit on the Northeast Corridor Line (Main Line, Philadelphia-Washington) between Perryville and Havre de Grace, MD.
Full service was restored by 8pm on Saturday, following extensive bridge inspections.
