Canadian-US-Mexican rail giant Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) reached an 8-year, tentative agreement with both the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen (BLET) and the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Works-Transportation Division (SMART-TD).
These agreements cover CPKC's U.S. system, except the Soo Line, and include provisions such as:
- 8-year term
- 32.5% general wage increase, retroactive to July 1, 2025
- Two consecutive rest days per week
- Adjustments to personal leave provisions
