Locomotives are exceptionally well-covered on outlets like All Things Trains. But it's not often that mass-market publications like The Wall Street Journal produce in-depth pieces that are focused on any aspect of railroading.
Union Pacific #4014, the only operational of the 8 surviving Big Boys has made trains popular again...at least #4014 and its train, which has variously included several specially-painted Union Pacific locomotives, a number of its Armour Yellow-clad office cars, Norfolk Southern Tuscan Red office cars, and even the Marco Polo, a Pullman Green-painted car that spent decades fixed in place at Washington, DC's Union Station before finding herself out on the road behind the Big Boy.
