AFT 1, the T-1 4-8-4 also known as Reading Company #2101 will be featured in the Pixel Foundation's video games TrainStation 2 and TrainStation 3. Downloading the American Freedom Train Chairty Pack will not only grant players the ability to use AFT 1, but the proceeds will support the B&O Railroad Museum's Save The Rails campaign.
The B&O Museum has been home to AFT 1 since the aftermath of a roundhouse fire which is believed to have rendered the locomotive inoperable, and caused the Chessie System to trade then-owned Ross Rowland J3a Greenbrier #614 to replace her. Chessie then sent AFT 1 (then carrying number 2101 and operating on the Chessie Steam Special excursions series) to the B&O Museum, where her restoration in American Freedom Train paint was completed in early 2026.
