Rockhill Trolley Museum Schedule Compacted

The Rockhill Trolley Museum, based in Rockhill Furnace, PA--across the street from the East Broad Top Railroad's Orbisonia station--announced that its 2026 trolley services will be substantially fewer due to the East Broad Top's decision to offer rail bike services over the standard gauge Shade Gap Branch.

The Shade Gap Branch is electrified and presently extends for 3 miles from the Orbisonia/Rockhill Furnace-area, and it remains owned by the East Broad Top, though used primarily by the Rockhill Trolley Museum until this year.

From the Museum: "Beginning July 1, 2026, East Broad Top Railroad will be operating standard-gauge rail bikes on our trolley line Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Due to the change being out of our control, we are required to limit trolley rides to Friday through Sunday with departures at: 12:45 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:15 PM, and 4:30 PM. Museum store hours are being finalized and will be announced as soon as they are updated."
