The Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad, a unit of Genessee Valley Transportation that operates primarily over the former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western/Erie Lackawanna Scranton Division main line and a portion of the former Delaware & Hudson in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, unveiled M630 #1776 in its America250 paint scheme.
#1776 was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works, the Canadian affiliate of ALCO Products in December of 1970 as Pacific Great Eastern #707, and continued using this number after PGE changed its name to British Columbia Railways. After spending time with General Electric, it found its way into the GVT family, which remains an ALCO stronghold. The scheme is based on a D&H Bicentennial livery and the bell even has a unique feature as seen below.
